The Vacation Term for Biblical Study (VTBS), also known as Summer Biblical Study in Cambridge, recognises and values children, young people (anyone under the age of 18) and vulnerable adults as equal partners in the life and ministry of the Church, and aims to encourage them to explore, and discover the richness of the Biblical Texts.  VTBS takes seriously its obligations and responsibilities to protect and safeguard the welfare of any children, young people and vulnerable adults who are participants in the Term (our two week summer conference).

The VTBS offers courses for those over 18 years; but on occasions visiting lecturers may be accompanied by their children (young people), for whom the Term recognises its duty of care; equally some of our older members might be classed as vulnerable, due to disability or age.

Our Designated Safeguarding Lead for the VTBS is:

Tim Winder, the VTBS Chairman
